Grange in Borrowdale, an artist’s dream of a typical Lakeland hamlet. Nestled in the Borrowdale valley with a river flowing under the old bridge, a couple of Lakeland stone cottages and high fells covered in mist, what more could the artist want. Turner was inspired in this lovely valley and sketched many times. I’ve picked the beautiful colours of Autumn to paint this interesting scene, which I hope you are going to really enjoy.
