Why not have a go at watercolour painting?

The perfect place to be inspired, take a walk down to Derwentwater or Buttermere.

On a rainy day it looks beautiful and to be honest it’s much easier to paint with lots of muted shapes and tonal hues, than a bright Sunny day. Take a few photo’s and come back to your cosy Cottage and set out the watercolours.

Derwentwater Tutorial

Each tutorial is easy to follow and comes with two video step by step demonstrations and is suitable for budding artists from the age of 10 to 90 years of age.

Why not have a go and be inspired in the Beautiful Lake District.

Each tutorial comes with a material list.

A few watercolours , a pad of paper and a couple of brushes , can set you off.

Heaton Cooper Art studio in Grasmere and the Art and Craft shop in Cockermouth will have all you need and more.

Buttermere Tutorial Price £7.50

Each Tutorial can be viewed on your computer, tablet or printed to work from. It includes step by step with many colour photographs on how I approach a painting in watercolours, a guide to materials and gives handy tips on equipment and with the step by step videos shows how those magical techniques that can bring a watercolour to life. This project is for Personal use only.

    Jane’s tutorials are excellent. Very easy for beginners to follow but with lots of tips for those with more experience. I did her full course when I first started painting.
